On Saturdays we now run a beginners
Adult group coaching
session from 12 noon, which is also open to non-members. The cost of
this is just £5 per session, with the option to stay on afterwards and
join in the Adult Social play. If you are interested and would like to
book a place, please contact Tracey Nelson on 07947 241976. Visitors Welcome! If you are new to tennis, looking to return to the game after a break or if you are an experienced player, please come and visit the club to see what we have to offer. Social Scene The club welcomes social members - the bar is stocked with beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks all at cheaper-than-pub prices, and its location in the centre of Rochford means its handy for buses, taxis and trains. In the clubhouse there is a regular social calendar including quiz nights, BBQs and the Darts team means the bar is regularly open on Tuesday evenings. Competitive Match Play The club participates in local and county leagues at all levels. Coaching for Juniors and Adults Our award winning head coach (Chris Nelson) has 15 years experience working with all levels of age and ability. One-off lessons can be arranged at the club, as well as regular courses, individually or as a group. Regular group sessions for juniors are available. Regular Play with other Club Members We have regular sessions of social play on Tuesday evenings for adults (from 7pm) and on Saturdays from 9am for juniors, and from 1pm for adults. The club's flood-lit all-weather courts are open year-round. Sporting events As well as participating in local leagues and informal tennis, the club organises regular sporting events, like tennis tournaments and fun play for the kids. |
