Darts Team! - The club is entering a Darts Team in the Southend, District and Ex-Service Darts league. Please contact the committee if you are interested, and we will put you in touch with the darts team captain.

March 26th 2011 The Mini-Reds tournament was a great success with over 20 mini red players from Rochford Tennis Club and other clubs in Essex competing on 6 mini red courts.

Boys Winner - George Chapman (Rochford) Girls Winner - Rosie Chapman (Rochford)

The boys final was a close match with visiting player, Owen Harding of Westcliff Hard, battling right to the end. Credit to all players for putting on a good show for the crowd.

Thanks to all who attended, as well as the volunteers who came along to help - it would not have been possible without you!

12th March 2011 - Race-Night club fundraiser was a great success with approximately 150 members and guests attending and £1,103 raised for the club funds. Some of this will be go to the court cleaning and the rest will remain in reserve for future necessities.

February 2011 - Our Head Coach, Chris Nelson, has been awarded for excellence in Mini Red tennis coaching by the Essex LTA. Here he is with a selection of our Junior tennis trainees:

The Quiz Night was a great success with almost 30 members and guests attending. Social Secretary (Gerard Little) delivered an entertaining quiz that gave everyone a moment to shine as well as a few puzzled looks. Plans are underway for another quiz in early 2011.
